Welcome to Games We Like dot com. This simple site is run by two guys, Bruce and Leon, and it's dedicated to videogames--but only the ones we like (except for the "Games We Hate" section; check it out).
All the videos and screenshots on our site were captured by the two of us, not taken or linked from other sites (with a few exceptions, like upcoming games). In our videos, that is one of us playing. Feel free to write and tell us we suck, or that we're awesome.

Updates:
6/8/09 Wolfenstein 3D was just released for Xbox Live Arcade and the Playstation Network. This is in honor of the upcoming Wolfenstein game, and it includes a trailer. We were a bit disappointed that Wolf 3D wasn't enhanced much. We were hoping it would be more along the lines of the nicely upgraded Atari Jaguar version of Wolfenstein. 4/18/09 We've made a couple of comparison videos for the site this week. The first is just for humor's sake. It's a clip of Chris Redfield, the co-star of Resident Evil 1 and Resident Evil 5. We've made a short clip of simultaneous footage from both games, because, quite frankly, we can't believe it's the same guy. We also have a write-up and video of Marble Saga: Kororinpa, the sequel to Kororinpa Marble Mania. It's on the Now Playing page.
3/29/09 We have a whole list of WiiWare games that we've tried lately as a celebration of Nintendo's long-overdue storage solution that makes SD cards actually useful on the Wii.
3/9/09 This week, we have a nice, big update to make up for our recent outage. We have new videos of House of the Dead: Overkill and Deadly Creatures on the Now Playing page, and we've put up a whole bunch of videos of Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (as well as newly recoded videos of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance) on the Fire Emblem page.
2/25/09 The site has been down for the last few days; we've moved to a new host. So we don't have an update for the week...I hope our many dedicated fans aren't too disappointed.
2/15/09 We've been playing Deadly Creatures all weekend, which is a new game where you play as either a tarantula or a scorpion, and spend your time eating or fighting insects, lizards, rats and other spiders or scorpions. The game has quite a grip; both of us finished it this weekend as well. It's obviously not too long a game, either. And aside from all the bugs in the game, it also has some computer bugs. 2/8/09 The Resident Evil 5 demo arrived online recently. This week, we showcase the game's co-op-based gameplay and its unique 16:9 offline split-screen mode. We put our impressions and videos on the new Resident Evil 5 page, and also put the two videos on the Now Playing page.
2/1/09 Our update this week is a small video of Burnout Paradise. You can see it on the Burnout page or the Now Playing page.
1/25/09 The best-selling game of 2008 was Wii Play, a humble collection of mini-games that comes packaged with a Wii Remote. This modest game seems to get little respect from the gaming community, however, who deride it as a game that only sells because of its remote. That makes little sense; why would someone pay the extra $10 for a bad game? Obviously, after 2 years at the top of the charts, word of mouth on Wii Play must be good. What do we think? Well, some of Wii Play is good. We've recommended it. So this week's update is a montage of the "good parts" of Wii Play. See it on the Now Playing page.
1/19/09 This weekend, we played another full game of Halo 3 in 3-player LAN co-op mode. We would've played some other game, maybe, since we've beaten Halo 3 twice before this way, except for the fact that there aren't any other games that offer LAN co-op, which is frustrating. We didn't get any video except for a quick capture of a bug, so that's this week's update. It's on the bugs page.
1/14/09 The update is a bit late this week, and it's also a bit late for the game. Excite Truck was a Wii launch month game, but we've been playing it again recently. See our impressions on the Now Playing page.
1/04/09 This week's update is a new video featuring all 8 instruments of a Band Bros DX song. Not a mean feat, considering how hard it is to capture video from the DS, and make a single video out of 8 individual ones! See it on the Now Playing page.
12/21/08 Our last update of 2008 features video comparisons of the recent music games Guitar Hero: World Tour, Rock Band 2, and Rock Revolution. Check it out on the Now Playing page.
12/21/08 It's Christmas week, which means the flow of new games has come to a screeching halt for the year. We have no new videos this week, but we do have impressions of the wanna-be Guitar Hero game Rock Revolution on the Now Playing page.
12/14/08 This week, we have impressions of a new game on the Playstation Network called Soldner-X. We've played it before; it was a PC release last year. The PSN version is a bit different, though. See our impressions and an example video on the Now Playing page.
12/07/08 The new Prince of Persia arrived this week. We have some videos and impressions of it on the Now Playing page. There are also videos of a couple of minor bugs we found during the games. Bruce is back playing his way through Dead Space this week as well.
11/30/08 Over the long Thanksgiving weekend, we played quite a bit of stuff. Bruce finally beat Valkyria Chronicles and Mirror's Edge, and played an old shooter called Axelay. Leon beat Bioshock, re-started Assassin's Creed, and we both played more Rock Band 2. The only new game in the mix was Call of Duty: World at War. There are a few new videos of a couple of these games on the Now Playing page.
11/23/08 The new game this week is Resistance 2. We also have a video of Pac-Man Championship Edition, a very cool new version of Pac-Man that came out last year. Both of these are on the Now Playing page. We also have a couple of new videos on the Bugs page, courtesy of Resistance 2.
11/16/08 This week, we've been playing more Rock Band 2, more Valkyria Chronicles, more Gears of War 2, and the brand new Mirror's Edge. We have some Mirror's Edge videos on the Now Playing page, and we've added a page for the Gears of War series, with several new Gears 2 videos.
11/09/08 We've picked up Valkyria Chronicles and Gears of War 2 this week, and updated the Now Playing and Bugs pages accordingly.
11/02/08 Our Guitar Hero: World Tour and Rock Band 2 impressions and comparison is up on the Now Playing page.
10/26/08 The Now Playing page is updated with Mega Man 9 and Dead Space videos.
10/19/08 We've created a "Now Playing" page which we will keep updated with the games we're enjoying each week.
7/5/08 Added a few more funny GTA IV videos to the bugs section.
6/14/08 Added a few Grand Theft Auto IV videos to the "bugs" section here.
6/12/08 We've added a short write up of the graphical upgrade on the Wii version of Resident Evil 4's "Separate Ways".
8/16/07 A new page is up, called "Bugs". It hosts a few videos of game bugs we found amusing or frustrating enough to film.
10/9/06 We've added a little bit about Majora's Mask to the Zelda History page.
8/29/06 We've been playing a lot of Guitar Hero lately. Our high scores are updated. Look for new videos soon!
7/1/06 The Band Bros song sharing mini-site is fully up now, go take a look and start sharing your own songs!
6/4/06 All of our E3 videos are now on their own page, so if you missed the threads on the Message Board, here they are. Also, Bruce finally provided pictures of his collection, they're on the Games We Like page.
5/14/06 There are some nice, new pictures on the Resident Evil Pictures page, from the official game art renders. More will follow...
5/13/06 There's a new page added for Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This is the first time we've had a page dedicated to a game not yet out, and that's because this is the sequel to our favorite game ever, Super Smash Bros. Melee. Can it top the best game ever?
5/11/06 We've just put up pictures of days 1&2 of E3. Check it out! Also, see our impressions on the Message Board!
5/9/06 We're off to E3 tonight! And we're not sure if we'll have updates from L.A., but hopefully, we'll at least be able to post to the Message Board. Come on in, there's plenty of info to chat about! Hope we'll see you there!
5/6/06 We've added more Smash Bros videos, this time of Cruel Melee fights.
5/6/06 We're using a new video host ('cause we filled up the old one!). If anyone has trouble with viewing videos, let us know! You can e-mail us at the address above, or come tell us on the Message Board. We're there most days.
4/15/06 There are a few more videos on the Smash Bros page, down at the bottom. Just bragging rights...
4/10/06 We've overhauled the Band Bros page. It now has a walkthrough of the menus, complete instrument listing, and more. Since Nintendo isn't bringing it over, we've made it import-friendly on our own.
