We almost didn't give the Hulk an award this year, but then we realized the Hulk's real name is Bruce! How could we resist then, when we'd already decided on RE4, with Leon in it?
But looking back at the fun we had with the game, and playing it again now, there was no doubt that it deserves our award. This game has trimmed down the free-roaming genre to its best part: rampaging!
And wow, is it ever fun to rampage as the Hulk! This game delivered laugh after laugh as we delighted in violence. From kicking cars like footballs, to using people as golf balls, to dragging helicopters and airplanes out of the sky (while beating our face against them, no less), to throwing tanks, leveling buildings, smashing robots, tearing cars in half, and on and on and on, this game was a blast from start to finish...and is still a blast to go back and play. Congratulations, Hulk, you're the best!
