Picking Resident Evil 4 as our Game of the Year was a no-brainer.  It's a fun, intense, beautiful, challenging and immersive game, and we've both played through it multiple times this year. 

RE4 isn't just the best game this year, it's also an easy contender for best game of this generation, as well as best graphics, level and character design--particularly the impressive bosses.  It also has the best extra in any game we played this year: the Mercenaries mode.  Not to mention the main character's name is Leon.

Nothing touched RE4 this year, and we're very happy to name it our Game of the Year (which will be one of many, many awards it receives, we're sure).
